Policies & Shipping Information
Nothing is more important to us than your complete satisfaction. That is why we take great care creating our chocolates and hand packing your order. We guarantee that your order will arrive at the peak of freshness and in the best possible condition.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Your chocolates are shipped via UPS using one of two methods: 2nd Day or Standard Overnight. Orders received will be shipped out within 2 business days depending on availability of the product.
SHIPPING ORDERS TO WARM CLIMATES
To limit time in transit and prevent your chocolates from melting, orders only ship over the weekend when temperatures are below 20° C. If temperatures exceed 20° C, orders received Thursday and Friday will be held over the weekend and ship on Monday or the next available ship day. Please make an effort to notify the recipient that a gift from Reid's is on its way so the package is not left in warm weather for too long.
SHIPPING & HANDLING CHARGES
Shipping and handling charges are calculated based on the weight and size of the package being sent. If you would like a shipment to be made during warmer weather, an additional charge will be added for ice packs and insulated bags.
TO REQUEST A FUTURE DATE FOR DELIVERY
We welcome advance orders. To request a future delivery date, please specify the date you would like your order to arrive in the "special instructions" box during the check out process.
ORDERING FROM ABROAD & INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Currently we only ship within Canda.
ORDER TRACKING
To receive your UPS tracking number, we encourage you to enter an email address when ordering. The email will contain shipping information and a tracking number for your order.
SIGNATURE RELEASE STATEMENT
UPS has permission to leave a package at the delivery address if no one is available to sign for it. Reid Candy & Nut Shop is not responsible for missing, stolen, or damaged packages after they are delivered to the address specified by the customer. Please double check the shipping address(es) before submitting your order or contact us at (519) 621-6988 to make any changes. Reid Candy & Nut Shop is not responsible for orders delayed or returned due to incorrect or undeliverable addresses.
